Appointed Persons in the Workplace Courses in Basildon

This course is suitable for personel who are required to act as Appointed Persons or there is a need for a basic level of knowlwdge and training. Sectors that generally complete the Appointed Persons in the Workplace course include but are not restricted to teachers, office staff and voluntary organisations.

This is a 1 day course and covers a minimum of 6 contact hours excluding breaks. Our open courses run from 9.30am to 4.30pm however for on site and group bookings times can be tailored to suit your needs.

In order to gain certification, the full course and contact hours must be met and completed within 6 weeks of starting the qualification.

• Cardiac Arrest
• CPR including the use of AED (defib)

• Bleeding

• Post incident care

There is no formal assessment for this qualification, our tutors will continually assess delegates throughout the course ensuring they meet the learning objectives.

A written open response will be completed on the course, however this can be completed at various points throughout the day or at the end of the course as a group to reinforce the learning objectives.

The course provides delegates with a level 3 certificate vaild for 3 years from the date of course completion.

The awarding body for our courses are Pro Trainings for Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) and TQUK where regulated (RQF) courses are completed.

This course costs £90.00 + VAT per person.
