Employers are required to designate and train employees throughout their facility to act as Fire Marshals (Wardens). Fire Safety is very much aimed at prevention and it is the Fire Marshals responsibility to not only act in the event of an evacuation, but to perform duties throughout their working day tio minimise the risk of fire in the workplace.

Ideally employers will spread the Fire Marshals around the building(s) not have them all in one department, and would require Fire marshals to be present on site throughout the working day so this will increase the number of staff needing the training to cover shift patterns.

Our Fire Safety training works best on site where we can tour the facility with your staff once the course has been completed demonstrating the tasks they should be performing as the designated Fire Marshal.
